Above the Rim is a proud sponsor for a 5th and 6th grade girls travel basketball team, The Lady Aces in Indianapolis, IN. The team was founded in February of this year to overcome the challenge that there really aren’t a lot of outlets in the area where girls can go play ball with other girls. AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) basketball is great but many families can’t keep up with the demanding travel schedule it calls for.
The thought was to get a group of girls together and take them around to play in different leagues throughout central and northern Indiana, giving them a similar experience without families encoring the added cost that comes with playing AAU basketball, thus Kaleidoscope Lady Aces was formed. The Lady Aces will now be taking court in their Above the Rim shoes! Good look Ladies!!
